Which brokerages does Attrio support?

Attrio currently supports CSV exports from Fidelity, Schwab, E*TRADE, Robinhood, and Vanguard. We auto-detect the format — just upload and we handle the rest. More brokerages are on the roadmap.

How do I export my CSV?

Each brokerage has its own export flow. In general: log in to your brokerage, navigate to your positions or portfolio page, and look for a "Download" or "Export" option. Choose CSV format. If you need step-by-step instructions, our upload page includes guidance for each supported brokerage.

What does the free tier include?

One full attribution report — completely free, forever. That includes two-tier Brinson-Fachler analysis (asset class + sector), an AI-written portfolio narrative, and a branded PDF download. No credit card required.

What does Pro add?

Unlimited attribution reports, watermark-free PDFs, scheduled delivery (weekly, biweekly, monthly, or quarterly), email delivery, up to 5 portfolios, and full report history. $12/month or $99/year.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from your account settings. You keep full Pro access until the end of your billing period. After that, your account moves to the free plan. Your report history and data are retained.

Is my portfolio data secure?

Yes. Your CSV is processed to generate the report, then the raw file is deleted. We store your reports, not your raw holdings data. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We use Supabase (hosted Postgres) with row-level security — your data is isolated to your account.

What is portfolio attribution analysis?

Attribution decomposes your portfolio return into allocation, selection, and interaction effects relative to a benchmark. Instead of just knowing your return was +8%, attribution tells you how much came from being overweight tech vs. picking the right stocks within each sector. Attrio uses the Brinson-Fachler model — the same framework used by institutional asset managers.

Is Attrio investment advice?

No. Attrio is an analytics and reporting tool. It tells you what happened in your portfolio and why — it never tells you what to do. Nothing on Attrio constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
