What We Collect

  • Account information: Email address and hashed password when you create an account.
  • Portfolio data: Brokerage CSV files you upload, including ticker symbols, share counts, and cost basis. This data is used solely to generate your attribution reports.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, reports generated, and feature usage to improve the Service.
  • Payment information: Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

How We Use Your Data

  • To generate portfolio attribution reports you request.
  • To deliver scheduled reports via email.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To improve the Service and fix bugs.

We do not sell, share, or provide your portfolio data to third parties. Your holdings data is never used for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than generating your reports.

Data Storage & Security

Portfolio data and reports are stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security enabled. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to your authenticated account.

AI Processing

Report narratives are generated using the Anthropic Claude API. Portfolio analytics data is sent to this API solely for narrative generation. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Data Retention

Your portfolio data and reports are retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: Authentication and database hosting.
  • Stripe: Payment processing.
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery.
  • Anthropic (Claude): AI narrative generation.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@attrio.io.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
